The deadline for the Summer Anthology 2018, Summer Dreams has been extended over the weekend.
The deadline for submissions of poetry, flash fiction or short stories is now 17th June 2018.

The deadline for submissions of short poems (ten lines or less) and flash fiction (100 words or less) for Issue 3 of Whispers and Echoes has been extended for one more weekend. The new deadline is now by the end of Monday 26th March 2018. Here’s what you need to know:
There’s no theme.
We accept work that has already been published on blogs, websites and social media, as well as previously unpublished work.
Although we release the journal on Wattpad (as well as here on the website), you do not have to have a Wattpad account.

The deadline for submissions to Issue 3 of Whispers and Echoes is 15 March 2018. So if you have any poems under 10 lines long or any flash fiction in 100 words or under, why not consider submitting them? If you enjoy writing short pieces of fiction and poetry, then please consider submitting something to issue 3 of Whispers and Echoes, an online journal dedicated to short writing. There is no theme, and the only limits are on length: 100 words for fiction and 10 lines for poetry. When the issue is released it will be available to read for free via Wattpad and here on the website.

2018 marks the two-hundredth anniversary of the publication of one of the most iconic pieces of classical literature: Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein. To celebrate, we want to put together an anthology of writing (poetry, flash fiction, short stories, letters, non-fiction) inspired by this classic.
For this project the submission window will be open from January 2018 – December 2018, and accepted submissions will be added to the anthology on Wattpad throughout the year.

Loves Letters to Selene is the second instalment in the Love Letters anthology series. For this collection we are only accepting poems and letters – no short stories please (fictional letters and prose poems are fine though). The scope for themes and subjects we are after is wide; from the personification of the moon and to moon lore and everything in between. More details can be found on the anthology’s page (see link below).

Summer Dreams will be our second summer anthology. For this collection we are looking for seasonally-inspired prose and poetry that may or may not include the element of a dream in it. As long as it takes its inspiration from the summer season, we want to read it!
